Music

Hand of the Master founder, Dr. Lynn Somers, has an extensive musical background.  She has professional voice training that began in high school, continued through college, and at the masters level included a Masters’ in Vocal Performance.  As a vocalist, she has performed solo, in large groups, and in choirs including acapella choirs.

Dr. Somers has training in playing guitar and she uses it in performing and accompanying group singing.  Lynn has led and directed many children’s choirs and musicals.  She has also worked in a church as an adult choir director.

In her ministry programs, Lynn and her puppets perform music.  In our ministry programs, we can do hymn sings, music sing-alongs, and special solo music (special services, weddings, funerals, etc).

Lynn has (and still does) compose original music with lyrics.
